How it Works
Quite simply, a stream of hot air is moved across a constantly wetted surface and as water is evaporated it absorbs heat from the air, causing a reduction in air temperature of up to 15°C. Each cooler generally contains only 7 major components, requiring minimal maintenance to ensure maximum reliability.
Safe Operation
There is no risk from potentially dangerous organisms, because the water in circulation remains at a naturally cool temperature, so safe in fact that they are frequently installed in hospitals.
Easy to Install
They can be suspended internally or externally, at high level or ducted from low level and require only a 1/2" mains water supply and connection to a single phase electrical supply. Installed individually they can treat a hot spot, or in multiples a larger space.

Typically a10m² space can be cooled by a single cooler for an average installed cost of just £6,000.00+VAT. For larger spaces, just add more coolers and the price will often reduce as the scale increases.
Low Running Costs
The typical running cost of a single cooler is just 7.75p/hr based on a unit cost of electricity of 4p/unit and water at 60p/m³. On this basis, the cost of operation during a single 37.5hour weekly shiftwould be just £2.90, for a two shift system £5.80 and a three shift system £8.40.
