Innovative technology
Adaptive Function Plus, an innovative control software, has the capability of reducing the energy consumption of Water Chillers and Heat Pumps by up to 36% in the winter months and 18% in the summer!
It has been exclusively patented by Rhoss, and derived from their partnership with the Physics and Information Technology department of the
Greater stability in the temperature of water delivered to the system

Adaptive Function Plus, when compared with traditional controls, makes it possible, even at partial loads, to maintain an exceptional stability of the water temperature delivered to the users, guaranteeing excellent regulation performances in process or air conditioning applications.
Energy consumption reduction
Adaptive Function Plus creates the opportunity to obtain energy performances equal to or better than Class A (as defined by Eurovent), without the need for further modifications.
Energy consumed only when it is truly required
In air conditioning systems, it is normal for chillers to work at full load for only a small percentage of the year, the remainder at some partial load. The need is to design and operate chillers such that their energy consumption is at its lowest levels at all times.
Adaptive Function Plus regulates the water set point value in terms of increasing the efficiency of the compressors according to actual working conditions. In this way it is possible to achieve significant seasonal energy savings compared to water chillers and heat pumps of an equivalent capacity with traditional control logic.
Finally - helping the environment
Rhoss chillers with Adaptive Function Plus improves the energy performance of a significant proportion of the connected load in a building, thereby enhancing its value in terms of a reduction in its carbon emissions.
