The new AFP Compact Y Series provides a range of R410A low noise scroll compressor high efficiency chillers, from 15kW to 65kW.

These are ideally suited for large residential, commercial and hotel applications requiring an air conditioning system that provides the perfect balance between low energy consumption and maximum comfort.

They are also a good solution for certain process applications which require a better than average control of chilled water temperature and for radiant applications such as chilled ceilings and underfloor heating

Silent operation, as low as 48dB(A) at 5m 

AFP Compact Y has been designed both for a reduction in energy consumption and for silent operation. In particular, the largest of the range have fan speed control which continuously adapts itself to the system load, thus guaranteeing the lowest noise levels at low loads. This benefit becomes more pronounced during the night when the sensitivity to noise is greatest.

Up to three capacity steps give an ESEER of up to 4.38

In the larger models, the decision to have two compressors of different capacity in the same circuit, provides three capacity steps, giving greater regulation of water temperature and higher part load efficiency with ESEER values up to 4.38.

Reliability and stability with a system water content of just 2litres/kW

AFP Compact Y chillers are able to estimate the dynamics and inertia of the system and continuously control with a high degree of reliability and stability with a water content of just 2litres/kW. This means that buffer tanks become unnecessary, saving costs and dimensions. 

Rhoss products are Eurovent certified and their test laboratory, one of the biggest in Europe and capable of testing chillers up to 1500kW at full load conditions, has itself been certified by Eurovent.
